		<description><![CDATA[Thank you Christina, that is most kind. How times have changed, particularly in medicine and the professions. I had hopes that things would improve - as that was the general direction a few decades ago - but whilst there has been some incredible progress, I&#039;m not that sure it&#039;s across the board and in some ways we have gone backwards. Let&#039;s hope some lessons will be learned.

		<description><![CDATA[I am lochgelly born and bred so this is the reason it interested me. I have enjoyed reading this and it was very imformative. My parents were born 1920/1921 and they were if the same opinions on life as your grandmother. Something similar although different happened to my sister when she was a baby and again my parents wouldn&#039;t hear if any blame attached to doctors. I am the youngest of 7 children and times changed from when my eldest sibling was born 14 years previous to me to my birth. I often wonder what life was like for my parents and my siblings. Especially pre nhs. Thankyou again for the insight into your younger years]]></description>
